​Bring unfinished paintings or start a new one. Lots of one to one help with all painting techniques! All lost paintings can be rejuvenated with a little help!

Simple Studies = Strong Paintings! - Oils or Acrylics
Date: November 2026 (TBA)  Time 9:30-4:30   Place: Valleyview Community Hall

Creating a strong design and composition is so important! It's worth the time to create small studies that will become larger successful paintings. In this workshop I want to teach you how to draw directly onto your canvas/panel in a very loose manner, use larger brushes (quick stokes) and paint the main value shapes that will become the anchors for a strong painting.
I encourage students to bring a few photos they want to work from ( you can use mine if you like). The goal is to do 3-4 smaller studies that will excite you enough to create a larger scale paintings! This workshop is geared to build your creative confidence.
